THOMAS COOK was the man who invented train excursions in about 1840 in England.So we should thank him for encouraging travel.
I stayed two night in Leicester,with a bus trip to Oakham and Uppingham. Then two nights in Stamford.-----------Leicester in Leicestershire, good to walk round with the Cathedral, Guildhall ,Clock Tower, Richard 111 museum main places of interest. ---------EAST MIDLANDS TRAIN AT LEICESTER.
